About Rick Lazio fundraising: Madoff and more Lazio: Issues
Rick has had an interesting career.
For a detailed description, read the Village Voice on Rick Lazio.
Most recently he was a Managing Director at JP Morgan Chase, heading the real estate group.
He started in 2004 after heading an organization that lobbied for the financial services industry.

His efforts to protect the stability of our financial system were not apparent during the economic crash of 2008 and 2009.
JP Morgan Chase did take bailout funds from the government during the crash. Lazio was in the real estate group.
Real estate was central to the collapse. Hmm. Is that what NY's economy needs?
And we should mention, Lazio did get a $1.3 million bonus from JP Morgan in 2009.
He was a politician before, serving in Congress from 1993 to 2001.
In 2000, he ran for US Senate against Hillary Clinton.
Clinton was somewhat unpopular and perceived by many as a carpetbagger.
Lazio had $45 million to spend. Clinton had $30 million.
Despite those advantages, he lost by a fairly large margin.
Is the NY GOP really going to have Rick Lazio at the top of the ticket?
There's a better choice. Someone from outside the bubble.
Someone who will fight for New York to Stop Wasting Money.
